Again, the Dogs were down by two goals in the third period but this time a comeback wasn’t meant to be.
Although Hamilton’s fore-check was relentless and they had a strong presence around the net, there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication and confusion in all three zones. Syracuse pummelled the Bulldog’s goaltender Robert Mayer with 17 shots in the second period while the Dogs themselves were only able to register 23 shots all night, most of which came late in the game with
